My fairy godmother Janet Stein took flight into the etheric realms on Sunday morning, just as gracefully as she lived her life. As I remember her, I celebrate her powerful light and all the love she shared with me and so many others. It was thanks to her foundation that the yoga classes began at the Santa Barbara Cancer Center (now the Ridley-Tree Cancer Center). It was with her support and the help of Jeanne Anselmo, that Arturo and I developed the Therapeutic Yoga Training Program. For many years she generously helped so many beautiful programs she believed in through her foundation, the Balm Foundation. My husband and I got married at her beautiful Montecito home.
