Anatomy and physiology can be complicated subjects to grasp, especially for aspiring teachers who don’t have a medical background.
Luckily, our upcoming 200-hour teacher training features the DREAM TEAM — Jesal Parikh @yogawalla & Arturo Peal @arturosurfs, who will each teach half of our Anatomy & Physiology module.
JESAL PARIKH
Jesal, co-host of the @yogaisdeadpodcast, has an incredible array of knowledge about the body, movement science, and yoga. She’ll emphasize usable and effective information to help bolster your knowledge as an educator. Plus, importantly, she’ll bring a critical eye to the science behind our understanding of the human body and explore the impacts of racism and cultural appropriation in understanding our bodies.
ARTURO PEAL
You’ll love Arturo’s practical and brilliant way of sharing information that can be dense or overwhelming. Plus, he’ll enhance his lessons using experiential models to make it all easier to grasp.
